About

  1. Hi,

Content on several pages of your website currently link to ‘Booz & Company’. As of last year, the new brand for ‘Booz & Company’ is ‘Strategy&’.

As it stands, visitors coming from booz.com are automatically redirected to the new strategyand.pwc.com domain. These redirects will remain in place up until the 30th March, however, after that day, the redirects will stop working completely. In order to ensure you do not end up with incorrect links, please feel free to update all relevant URLs on your site. This can be done as follows:

    Find: booz.com
    Replace with: strategyand.pwc.com

You may also want to change the link anchor text to reflect the new Strategy& brand name, if relevant.

For your reference, the pages on your site that need updating are as follows:

    error500.net/2012/02/
    error500.net/social-commerce/
    error500.net/tag/social-commerce/
    error500.net/tag/social-media/

Note that, while we did not identify any other URL than the ones above with this potential problem, you may anyway want to have a quick look to see if there are other similar booz.com links on your website that need updating.

Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you require any further assistance with this matter.

  2. Hi,
I got in contact last week notifying you of an upcoming change in ownership of our domain name: as of last year, the booz.com domain has been redirected to strategyand.pwc.com. I wanted to remind you that in a few days – on March 31st – the redirects from booz.com will cease to work when we lose ownership of the domain, meaning you will end up with broken links on your website. You can update your incorrect links as follows:

    Find: booz.com
    Replace with: strategyand.pwc.com

Google is reporting that around 13 pages of your website still have links pointing to booz.com. Here are some examples of those pages:
    social-commerce.net/
    social-commerce.net/2013/12/
    social-commerce.net/author/holsing/
    social-commerce.net/category/business-models/
    social-commerce.net/category/social-commerce/

If you need help identifying them all, do let me know, and I’ll send you a spreadsheet with the full list of the booz.com links we could find on your site.

NB If Google has yet to update its cache on this page/these pages and you have already made the appropriate changes then please disregard this email.
    Many thanks,

  3. Hi,
I wanted to inform you that the redirects from booz.com have now ceased working as we lost ownership of the domain, meaning you have now ended-up with broken links on your website. (The booz.com website has permanently moved to strategyand.pwc.com). You can update your incorrect links as follows:
    Find: booz.com
    Replace with: strategyand.pwc.com

As a reminder, here are some examples of the pages on your site that Google is still reporting as containing links pointing to booz.com:
    social-commerce.net/
    social-commerce.net/2013/12/
    social-commerce.net/author/holsing/
    social-commerce.net/category/business-models/
    social-commerce.net/category/social-commerce/
In total, we estimate that around 13 pages on your website need updating. If you need help identifying them all, do let me know, and I’ll send you a spreadsheet with the full list of the booz.com links we could find on your site.

Please let me know if you require any assistance updating these links.
NB If Google has yet to update its cache on these pages and you have already made the appropriate changes then please disregard this email.
